About Resume RANTS

Hello and thanks for visiting Resume RANTS!

After a solid year of telling anyone who would listen, "I want to write a blog," I've finally launched Resume RANTS, a fun, fresh, and hopefully humorous (because no one should take themselves too serious) blog providing job seeking professionals the tools, resources, and advice needed to get better search results, successfully network, as well as feel prepared and confident for every interview.  Most of all, I'm rescuing resumes.

As many already know, I've spent the last eight+ years working as a recruiter in the marketing and creative space.  I've had the privilege of helping countless people across the country find their next professional adventure, as I like to say.  I've  also worked directly with HR reps and hiring managers in a variety of industries and advertising agencies to identify candidates for their diverse and ever-evolving needs. Working with these professionals, I've learned a thing or two (or 1,000) about the qualifications and criteria they're looking for when hiring. I've also gained invaluable insight into what constitutes a winning resume, one that gets interviews and ultimately jobs.
